NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Weed will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at 550 Main Street Weed, California in order to discuss approval of submitting an application to use up to $150,000 program income from State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for a Housing Rehabilitation Program and to solicit citizen input.

The purpose of this public hearing will be to give citizens an opportunity to make their comments known. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you may direct written comments to the City of Weed, City Clerk, 550 Main Street Weed, California 96094, or you may telephone (530) 938-5020. In addition, a public information file is available for review at the above address between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 P.m. on weekdays.

The City promotes fair housing and makes all programs available to low and moderate income families regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual preference, marital status or handicap.

Please contact City Hall on the day before the scheduled meeting to confirm that the item will be heard on that date. If you challenge the matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Manager at, or prior to, the meeting.

All interested persons are invited to attend and have the right to be heard on this and any other agenda item.
