State Attorney General candidate Eric Early is featured speaker at Mount Shasta meet and greet

Candidate Eric Early, who is running for State Attorney General in 2022 will speak at a meet and greet in Mount Shasta on Thursday, June 17, sponsored by the Siskiyou County Republican Central Committee.

Other speakers include Siskiyou County District Attorney Kirk Andrus, Siskiyou County Sheriff Jeremiah LaRue (tentative appearance) and acting Mount Shasta Police Chief Robert Gibson.

The free event begins at 2 p.m. with doors opening at 1:30  p.m. at the Mount Shasta Community Building, 629 Alder Street. Refreshments will be provided.

Early ran for Congress in California’s 28th Congressional District in 2020 and in 2018, ran against California Attorney General Xavier Becerra and received almost 1 million votes statewide, according to his campaign website, ericearlyforca.com.

Early, an attorney, is lead counsel for the team that’s leading the charge for Gov. Gavin Newsom’s recall and one of his other clients includes One America News Network.

“Eric loves America and cannot remain on the sidelines,” according to Early’s website. “He believes that there is a battle of good versus evil currently raging in our country, to the point where those who support communism and socialism remarkably now populate certain portions of our government. Now is not a time for good people to sit on the sidelines as the evil multiply.”
