Need a rapid COVID-19 test in Siskiyou County? Here are all the places you can go

Siskiyou Daily News

There are several places where people can go to get a rapid COVID test in Siskiyou County.

The caveat is some testing clinics aren't open every day.

Rapid tests usually offer the person taking them their results in as little as 15 minutes, Siskiyou County Health and Human Services Agency public information officer Angie Cook said.

That's compared to a two-day to seven-day turnaround time for standard PCR tests.

Here are locations offering rapid tests. Note that most require appointments, and that people with symptoms are asked to call first and let staff know.

Be sure to ask about cost when you make an appointment. While the majority of tests are free, some medical providers charge for their time if your insurance is out-of-network or the facility doesn't bill insurance.
