Tip of the Week: Snails are nutritious

The French are the biggest consumers of escargots in the world, with up to 20,000 tones imported from countries such as Greece and Spain. The snail is brimming with calcium, magnesium and vitamin C. One of the most popular cooking methods is "a la bourguignon," which contains butter. In addition, many recipes have rich sauces, causing a slight problem with cholesterol.
