Safe and Sound
Young children are often fearless, until a negative experience occurs that teaches them otherwise. As parents we strive to protect our kids, but run into the difficult decision of just how much frightening adult information to give them, in order to keep them safe. Do we talk about the danger of strangers, and frighten them with information about abduction? Do we talk about emergency evacuation plans, to be prepared?
