This is Great!
I like this quote:
“It is imperative that any law passed and enacted which impacts the social life or health or welfare of the broader community be passed and enacted by a super majority and, if possible, a consensus of the entire governing bodies, with prior approval by the provincial councils. It has been widely confirmed that legislation that does not reflect both a provincial and national consensus on these kinds of programs or changes in societal norms or mores is likely to lead to decades of strife, discord, distress, unrest, disrespect and general distrust of the governing power, and will further lead to undermining the credibility of the governing body.”
This comes from a new book which consists of documents from the Afghan War, 2001-2014. (Actually, the review copy has excerpts only from what is going to be a 32 volume release) This passage was written by the Pentagon as part of a specific counterinsurgency/nation building program, designed to help the new Afghan government put together a credible government which would have the support of the entire nation. The lessons referenced come from failures in Vietnam and other insurgencies.
What I’m trying to figure out is why the Obama Regime didn’t read this, or integrate its message, before shoving Obamacare down our throats.
