Most Americans, even most Republicans, want the U.S. to stay out of the situation in Ukraine

Consistent with their pathological antipathy toward Barack Obama, Republican politicians generally have faulted the president for what they see as his failure to more aggressively raise a fuss over Russia’s involvement in the affairs of Ukraine.

But the American public takes a different view of the matter.
