Board to hold special meeting regarding consolidation

The Mount Shasta Union School District will hold a special meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 26 to discuss the consolidation of K-3 grades to the Sisson campus.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Sisson gymnasium beginning at 6:30 p.m.

People wishing to address the board are asked to limit their comments to three minutes per person, according to the meeting's agenda, which is posted online at

Board members John Duncan, Paul Schwartz, Leslie Cole, Chuck Rosecrantz and Bob Winston are expected to make a decision regarding the possible consolidation of the schools during their next regular meeting on March 12.
