CAL FIRE investigators are asking for the public's help in gathering information about the person or persons who may be responsible for starting three vegetation fires in the Angel Valley area.

The fires, reported between 10:48 p.m. on Sept. 6 and 2 a.m. on Sept. 7, burned approximately two acres, according to a CAL FIRE news release. Firefighters were able to keep the fires from spreading into the community due to a rapid response and favorable weather conditions, according to CAL FIRE.

Investigators are looking for information from anyone who may have been in the area of the fires the evening of Sept. 6 and early the morning of Sept. 7. CAL FIRE urges anyone with information on the fires or anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to call 530-842-2266.
