All Happy Camp and July complex evacuations lifted

As of Wednesday morning, Sept. 17, the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office has lifted all mandatory and advisory evacuation notices and all road closures for the Happy Camp and July wildfire complexes.

SCSO asks that those traveling in the area be watchful of fire crews and their equipment.

The Happy Camp Complex was reported at 114,664 acres and 60 percent contained with 1,332 personnel involved as of Wednesday morning. The fires were started by lightning Aug. 12. Estimated cost to date is $80 million. See: http://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/4078/ for updates.
