Slebodnik retires, recognized by Commissioner O'Malley

Lackawanna County Commissioner Patrick M. O’Malley, left, presented a “Certificate of Recognition” on behalf of the Board of Commissioners to Jim Slebodnik, who recently retired after nearly 30 years of service as a corrections officer at the prison. Slebodnik, a life-long Carbondale native, also received a plaque from the prison system.
