Rates have increased for Mt. Shasta water and wastewater
The City of Mt. Shasta wants to make sure all property owners in the City are aware that water and wastewater rate increases approved by City Council on May 30, 2017, went into effect on July 1, 2017. The new rates are shown in the chart above.
The City notes the following:
1. One equivalent dwelling unit (EDU) equals 175 gallons per day of wastewater flow, which is the estimated flow from a typical single-family household.
2. Non-residential EDUs based on 90% of monthly water consumption.
