Robin went to rest on May 21st surrounded by her loved ones. Robin was born in Mt Shasta, CA and spent most of her life living in McCloud CA. She was a devoted Daughter, Sister, Mother and most importantly a loving Grandmother to her four grandsons Tyler, Nolan, Blake and Lucas. Robin’s children and grandsons were the greatest joys of her life. She was also a 2nd mom to many.

Robin loved books, knitting, sewing and taking care of her little ladies hair and nails in McCloud. She loved spending her winters in the gym and summers at the baseball field watching her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews play ball. She will so miss the love of her companion Lucy, her sweet labradoodle.

She was in love with the town of McCloud and it’s residents. Robin was a graduate of McCloud High and was a lifelong “Logger.” She was a recent member of the board of the McCloud Chamber of Commerce, where she took part in most special events the chamber hosted. She spent the last several years as the innkeeper at the historic McCloud River Inn. She loved the history of the town of McCloud, and took pride in the heritage of her small community.

She is preceded in death by her father Richard Toreson, survived by her mother, Angie Toreson, sisters Lori (Ken) Norris and Kristine (Bill) Acord, her children Leslie (Brian) Johnson, Sarah (Derek) Scalise and Sean Harker, and her grandchildren Tyler and Nolan Johnson, Blake and Lucas Scalise and her sweet Aunt Berta (Jeff) along with with countless nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and many friends.

Due to the current social restrictions, there will be a private graveside service held for the family. A celebration of life will be held this summer in McCloud.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local food bank or charity.
