Alexander “Ske” Komlofske passed away at home on July 19, 2020, surrounded by his family.
“It broke our hearts to lose you but did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.”
He is survived by his wife, Anne Komlofske, his daughter Lori Anjola and husband Mike and his grandchildren Adara and Tanner. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jim and Bill, and is survived by his brothers Steven, Bob, Gerry, Dan, Ron and Don. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Sadie Komlofske.
Born in Clackamas, Oregon, Ske served in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman for six years. His next job was as a corrections officer for a couple of years prior to his selection as an Officer serving in the California Highway Patrol. He attended the academy in the late 1960s, which launched him on a over 23-year period of service to his community. His first assignment was Indio and his last assignment prior to retirement was Bishop. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, the Elks, and the Shriners of Mt. Shasta where he called home the last 30 years.
Burial services will take place at Northern California Veterans’ Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Shasta Elks, or Mercy Hospice.
