Kaleen Parkin, Mount Shasta:

“I think it’s sad because I have a friend that lives over there, and I’m worried for them and for their family. It’s hard to think that people are dying.”

We asked people, "How do you feel about what's happening right now in Japan?"

We got some great responses.

Robin Conan, Dunsmuir:

“It's horrible. It's very sad. I don't get the news, because I don't have cable. I get my news from the TV at work. I feel sorry for the people and I hope they get aid. And I hope anyone that can help will, with donations, like to the Red Cross.”
