Letters to the editor: Marijuana problems

God gave us free will. So we now have recreational marijuana. But there is a law and a principle called cause and effect. As it says in the good book, Be not deceived, God is not mocked, whatsoever you sow, that shall you also reap.

The I Am School is having a problem, because the extreme closeness of an 8,000 square foot building that is around 300 feet from the school. It seems that marijuana and the money it promotes is more important than the law or the welfare of children!

Apparently Mount Shasta City Council only cares about being some great capital for marijuana in Siskiyou County or perhaps even California. This council is supporting the greed for money of those who want to sell and grow marijuana, and in all of them that exceeds their love and wisdom for the truth. In fact they are denying the truth and supporting untruths to get their way.

The truth is that the THC in marijuana remains a narcotic and now exceeds what used to be in marijuana by one hundred percent and it is easily addictive and poisonous to children, destroying brain tissue of those becoming adults. It dulls the mind for good judgment and reaction time after having smoked one marijuana cigarette.

It also promotes addiction for stronger narcotics. Any doctor or police officer who supports these untruths are not true to their position in medicine or lawfulness.

But then, the consciousness of too many has been conditioned to be enslaved and so they are subjugated to this darkness of puffing on marijuana, or eating foods from it!

The Planning Commission now has it right. The marijuana building should be 600 feet away from any school, that is the law.

Stand up and be counted for the truth!
