COS soccer drops two in Lake Tahoe

The College of the Siskiyous men and women’s soccer teams made a forgettable journey to Lake Tahoe to face the Coyotes on Friday.

The men lost 2-0 as Lake Tahoe scored in each half and peppered Eagle goalkeeper Cesar Toledo with 31 shots.

The women fared worse, getting shut out 9-0 by a Lake Tahoe squad that is 9-0-2 and ranked #1 in the state.

The Eagle women and men face College of the Redwoods at home on Friday. The men's game begins at 11 a.m., while the women's contest is at 1 p.m. COS will host Butte College at home on Tuesday, with the women's game at 2 p.m. and the men's game at 4 p.m.
