The Mt. Shasta Ski Team is ready to begin another ski season.

Early bird registration for Holiday Camp is still going until Friday, Nov. 15. This year, the ski team will be hosting Holiday Camp from Dec. 26- 29 and Jan. 2-5. MSST is still accepting registration for season long programs. This year the programs that will be offered are Starters, All-Mountain Progression for ski and snowboarders, Regional Team, Far West Team and Masters. All the information needed to pick a program for you or your child can be found at

To get the winter stoke going, MSST will be co-hosting a film screening of TGR: Winterland on Dec. 7 with the Mt. Shasta High School Alpine Race Team. There will be more information to come in the coming month about that event.

MSST also is encouraging community members to attend The Fifth Season Racer Day event on Nov. 15. The Fifth Season will be providing incredible deals on ski and race equipment. Additionally, MSST is very excited to be participating in North State Giving Tuesday again on Dec. 3rd. The event is a day long, online giving event. It will begin at 6 a.m and goes until 8 p.m. You can pre-schedule your donation beginning Nov. 19. For more information about Giving Tuesday, go to

Finally, we are still looking to add a few new coaches and staff members to our excellent team. We are looking for coaches that have solid skiing or snowboarding skills, with a preference for folks who have experience teaching/instructing/coaching and/or have a background in ski racing.

We are also looking for a snowboard coach for our all-mountain progression snowboard group. A qualified candidate will be good at working independently and as part of a team. They should have good communication skills, feel confident working with youth between the ages of 8 and 18, and be capable of spending 4-6 hours outside in inclement weather and is reliable.
