Mount Shasta girls play Weed in early Saturday 'Holiday' game

The final day of the Mount Shasta Holiday Tournament begins with the host Bears taking on rival Weed in the girls 7th place game at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Both teams lost their first two Holiday games, including Mount Shasta’s 46-41 loss in overtime against Klamath Union Friday.
In Saturday’s pre-scheduled Holiday boys games, Mount Shasta plays the tournament’s final game at 6:30 p.m. against Klamath Union, Weed will face Butte Valley at 12:30 p.m., and Yreka takes on Hidden Valley at 3:30.
The girls championship game at 5 p.m. will feature Yreka against Anderson.
Lassen’s girls will play Butte Valley at 11 a.m. for third place, and Etna girls will play Klamath Union at 2 p.m. for the consolation title.
