Mt. Shasta visible after smoke clears

Jay Deal of Austin, Texas, submitted this photograph of Mt. Shasta, taken from Weed when the smoke cleared earlier this week. He was visiting the area and said in an email, "As you know it had been difficult seeing the mountain the past few days. But as I left that morning to begin my journey back to Texas, the air cleared and I took this beautiful shot."
