The Illini (22-8) host Louisville (21-7) Saturday (3 p.m.). A victory would send Illinois, seeded 13th, to the Sweet 16 for the eighth consecutive season.

After winning the doubles point, Illinois scored victories from No. 1 Marc Spicijaric, No. 2 Roy Kalmanovich and No. 3 Dennis Nevolo.

The Illinois women (18-7) host Vanderbilt (11-8) at noon Saturday in first-round NCAA play.
